Keeping up with the joneses.

we left for jackpot today had wendy's for lunch $7.00, i paid for the hotel room $35.10 we gambled ate at the bugget-bob paid and gambled then went to bed. there was this game called "keeping up with the joneses" in the midst of spending and having fun, this machine haunted me and brought me back to MS and frugal living and how i have chosen to live my life. I felt so very guilty...

frugal sue.

As soon as I got up I decided we were going to have a super frugal day. I decided to use my new crockpot, looked up a new recipe, tweeked a lil and am making bean, noodle, hamburger soup thing. it called for tomato paste so when i opened the can i spread some wax paper on a cookie sheet and spooned the remainder of the can of into discs and popped it in the freezer- for lunch i made a free box of velveeta mac and cheese. cleaned the litter box went over resolutions and fine tuned everything. there are quite a few but i belive all of htem will greatly help me. physically, mentally and financially.

”If you don't like something change it; if you can't change it, change the way you think about it.” -- Mary Engelbreit

This describes my attitude about life in general, but it also applies to frugality. If you look at saving money as a sacrifice, you’ll feel deprived. If you look at frugality as being smart with your money and making the most of what you have, you’ll feel blessed.- Kim Danger
